Founder and Creative Director
Resident bald guy. Founded GV in 2009, after a successful stint as a builder and all around know it all, Jack of all trades, etc. Darrald has been in the deck and patio business for over 25 years. He continues to create and sell beautiful outdoor living spaces for our metro area homeowners. Darrald is an Army veteran and is proud to be able to give back to our local veteran homeowners, as well as donate installation and materials to our local chapter of the Homebuilders foundation. His children turned out to be a chip off the old block and have both spent time learning about and working in the family business. It has been a family affair, labor of love and blessing all around.

Owner and HR Director
Sue started in GV in 2010, after many years in the customer service industry. She has been able to utilize her knowledge of client care and transfer it to the GV HR department. She successfully managed to keep Grand View in the family by talking her little brother, Junior (as well as her and Darralds boys), in to work at GV at various teen ages. Sue’s background has nothing to do with building, but everything to do with customer service.

Co-founder and Production Leader
Junior started working with Darrald in 1997 as a helper. He has spent his time with GV learning this industry from the ground up while successfully running from Darrald’s nail gun, several murderous deer, frogs, and snakes on job sites. He has learned several trades over the years such as electrical, plumbing and brick work and can be found working closely with our homeowners to ensure a professional and hassle-free installation. He is a builder extraordinaire as well as a homeowner favorite. He is the one our homeowners love the most (and according to Sue, so does their mom).

Admin/Gate keeper
Janell started with GV in 2017 and quickly cemented her place within the office as our extraordinary multi-tasker, keeper of all things important and down to earth admin assistant. Janells background is in construction and construction supply houses (Although, she loves us the best.) She is married to a contractor and has spent her career in admin.

Project Manager
Nate is our newest addition to the GV family. Nates background is in maintenance and supply and lucky for us we were able to steal him away from his previous employer and utilize his skills and knowledge for our company. Nate was roped into the GV and Barajas family quite literally by Darrald and Sue’s daughter. He was unlucky enough to not get away before the GV allure claimed him.
